I would have loved to be a mod at AF back when it was good, when I really thought it was worth helping, but this has nothing to do with power. You can insist it does all you want, but it's not going to change what you said or make people forget that. Really, if I had been offered a mod position at any time during the last month or so, I would have declined straight away. The truth is, I've spent a lot of time and money on these forums already, I barely slept over the weekend, and while it is rewarding, I never would want to be admin for it's own sake, but someone has to after all.
The reason I created these forums is the same as Eltu. To be honest, when I spoke to the others, I only ever brought it up as a possibility - "What about if we started our own forums then?" but was amazed by the resulting enthusiasm for it.

Shatner, afaik that wasn't him, he was in the chat as his forum username (I'm sure most people know who this is, but still not going to specifically name him)
