Default The Golden Compass. (Northern Lights)

Yeah, I was wondering exactly how many of you watched this film and what you thought of it. My only problem with the film was that 'New Line Cinema' went against the original Director and REPLACED the whole ending of the movie... This ending led it on to a sequel which would have been the second book. Because this ending was removed it didn't appeal to adults, and as such the box office results were poor... which means a sequel is no longer going to be produced.

For anyone that watched the film... here's the cut ending...

I never watched the film, I heard bad things about it (like it not following the plot )
Might watch it now and then watch the ending, I guess.

Personally,I love the books. But the movie with the scenes in the correct place and the original ending...it's just amazing.

Dakota Blue as Lyra was a match made in heaven I can't view Lyra as a Blonde anymore...
