Yes, that's Gause's competitive exclusion principle. What I was refering to was, you are assuming that we would create artificial sentient species or machines. On a second not, we cannot assume that machines follow Gause's principle.

1. Actually we would in order to do as Tsyal Makto suggest to build computer models that could predict any and all possible damaging deviations when it comes to gene splicing an such. Because no computer model could do that unless machines actually become smart as in intelligent, as in sentient.

WTF? If genetic engineering to redesign the whole human body from scratch as he and many others want is to be viable you would need really powerful AI machines that could forecast and predict every possible genetic deviation that there could be. There is no other way around if Transhmanism as they want it is to take place. The consequences would be off course that you'd end up creating machines that are smarter than humans and thus superior.
