My annoying rant

My group tested the different rates of the enzyme catalase catalyzing reactions of different temperatures and pH. We used a potato for the source of catalase. So anyway, we were pretty disorganised as the guy who designed the experiment really didn't know what he was doing. I got bored and started to carve a face in the potato. I eventually rubbed some dirt around the eyes and got some mashed liver (used by another group) and applied it around the mouth and created my potato Joker from the Dark Knight. I guess this freaked out one of the girls (and most likely more) because she said I was crazy in a bad way and ended by saying "I guess that's why you do science" and I asked "what do you mean" and she said "cos you're weird". I didn't take it as an offence but I thought, do most people think science people are weir? And doesn't that mean you're weird as well since you're in my group? i guess she just didn't think before opening her mouth.

I don't think its right people call each other strange, weird, freak, sick... (i've been called those before) and I've learned lately that.... I shouldn't care what others think. I love certain things not a lot of other people don't like, one because they're different and two I'm not following the crowd to fit in, I'm making my own trail for something that I love.

Another thing... backstabbers. Was just backstabbed by one of my best friends. It really hurts me when that happens because then its like, "well I see if you did it once how many more times did you do it?"
