I don't know what people find so amazing about the theaters that makes them think watching movies at home sucks.

Don't get me wrong, movie theaters are pretty amazing, but I find that I can enjoy the movie more so at home. Especially with Avatar because it becomes more personal and you can see/hear things that you wouldn't have heard/saw at the theaters.

I don't know if that's what you were implying in your post, but I hate when people say "Avatar at home won't be the same as the theaters".
