Well the modified picture looks a lot more smooth however more blurry which is logical. I would prefer maybe something half a way between them and if not possible modified one looks better . And thank you very much for your work

Yea that's the best I could get it in terms of removing as much grain as possible but keeping at much detail as possible. I dunno, I may put it aside for now and continue to work on it to see if I can improve it any.

Also, you're welcome, I too thank you for your large collection of images you have provided us
