Some people may think it sucks just because is not blue, still pretty darn cool and given the fact is LEDs also mean that it is an environmentally conscious Lamp

You know, some of those pink things hanging during the night-scene with Neytiri and Jake (the one where they first meet) have inspired some of my designs for starship lighting in my models... </end epic nerd alert>

I kind of fail to see where the Avatar inspiration comes into it though... Maybe from the bioluminescent spots?

Honestly I don't really see the Avatar inspiration either. Looks like something I could have made at home with a strip of LEDs and a clothes hanger.
