You crazy! How athletic are you? I don't know how you people do it. I jog constantly and take in my proteins but I just don't see any improvement to my workout. The only thing I get out of it is muscle strains (I need to stretch more).

I am blessed with a pretty high metabalism, so I am not really overweight. I'm about 180lbs at 6'1. Its probably easier for me to get in shape than others because of this. I am VERY sore though. My leg muscles are tight, but I have yet to strain anything luckily.

Good thread topic!

I Like to keep fit, i gym when i can (which lately is NOT as often as i'd like!) and when i can't gym i made due at home! There are some talented youtubers that give me a good workout with no accessories.

Physical health is super important to me, feels good, looks good and its great for you. Keeping this lifestyle now enables me an easier time keeping it when i'm older! Steering away from heart disease and diabetes and all that stuff. When the exterior to the brain is happy and healthy, the brain can only follow suit!

I have a pretty athletic build and an athletic nature, but i no longer participate in sports... I may sign up for a beach volleyball team this summer though... i want to get back to the competition!

Just thought Id post up here that this weekend I plan on ordering some Shakeology. Its a meal replacement shake packed with pretty much everything you need to be really healthy. While its got a pretty hefty price tag of $120 being a meal replacement it really only comes out to around $4 a meal which is less than if I eat out.

When I get it in Ill be sure to post up a review on my thoughts. Oh, and my reasoning here is that my lunch time is rather hectic and I have had a harder time getting in everything I need. So this shake will help me get all the nutrients that my body is craving.

If that's in reference to my comment, i was meaning in more of a personal goal sense. When you feel good about you, when you feel healthy. That doesn't mean you have to be an Abercrombie model! lol I totally agree, you don't need abs to be healthy, I hate all that "society says" crap as well!

You don't need abs, however it is important to eat correctly OR exercise to actually remain healthy.

The following is from The American Council on Exercise

Description Women / Men
Essential fat 10-13% / 2-5%<-Minimum requirements, technically in good health however if you drop below this you're going to die
Athletes 14–20% / 6-13% <-Very healthy, good percentage of muscle, "perfect" body composition-wise
Fitness 21–24% / 14–17% <-This is where most people are at who are considered "healthy"
Acceptable 25–31% / 18–24% <-This will affect health in a negative manner, however not to the extent of:
Obese 32%+ / 25%+ <-Unhealthy, this is shortening one's lifespan and putting an individual at greater risk for a whole slew of problems.

Has anyone tried indoor rock/wall/bar/mixed climbing? I think the workout is very fun and well-rounded, and I just started it after seeing someone's thread on "climb a tree and get in shape" here.
