Here Are Some Ideas For 'AVATAR: Na'Vi.

Since no one has posted a thread in this section, I thought I get one started and we can all contribute some ideas.

"Avatar: Navi" until a known name for a sequel is available, this one sounds best to me.

Idea 1. Lets have a new discovery at an adjacent moon to Pandora called Galion, by an RDA competitor by the name of MTD - Multiple Transport Devices - since RDA has exclusive mining rights to Pandora, this new company finds additional Unobtanium sources here, thus causing RDA monopoly to break.

This causes an intense battle among Pandora bound RDA ISVs and stationed troops at Galion. The RDA are finally successful in securing a truce and together with Galion, plan an attack on Pandora.

Idea 2: In the meantime extensive Navi Life is shown with their customs and rituals as Jake is celebrated leader of the Omaticaya and Neytiri is the new spiritual leader, as they situate to a new home 10 clicks away close to a special "Tree of Souls".

Idea 3: Norm and Dr. Max Patel lead a scientific breakthrough to treat earth's depleted atmoshphere through plant life but they need a critical piece of research only known to Dr. Grace Augustine.

Idea 4: Neytiri plans the ancient ceremony to resurrect Grace in her Navi Avatar...and this time....Grace is back!!!


All right let see if we can come up with some more.

Sounds....Interesting. Don't like the idea of another company coming in. I think that the RDA will attack again, but it will be a subtle attack, and not an all out battle like in Avatar. Other than that, Nice thinking. *Tries to think of some moar*

Um, I'd like to visit the other tribes, especially the Ikran people from the western shores. Definately 'need' to see more jungle & creatures.

Don't really want any more SkyPeople to arrive...perhaps the research could continue via Norm.

All block-busters feed from battle/conflict and so will A2; I'd hate to see another human-Na'Vi battle...anther race from another system perhaps, maybe the SkyPeople could forge a battle-group?

Not sure, I need plenty of 'tree hugging love'....perhaps some conflict but it's gotta be better than the first, or the entire Avater 'bubble of dreams' will burst!

What I really want is more of the Na'vi... how they live on Pandora. How Jake lives as Na'vi.

1. Given what we know Earth and mankind is all but extinct by the second film.

2. RDA has competition they are the sole power in Earth and the solar system or rather were before humans became inevitably extinct by the 2nd film.

Personally, I feel that the Earth directorate would have revoked the RDA's contract for unobtainium by the second film, due to their handling of the situation. Although, I do enjoy the idea of a second company actually needing to pacify possible RDA resistance.

And of course lots of Na'vi culture and whatnot. Curiosity's a bitch.

RDA is basically the main and sole power on Earth, nobody can revoke them anymore than we can currently revoke Big Oil from the power they wield only in the case of RDA is 100 times stronger than Big Oil ever was. But anyway given the fact that humanity is all but extinct by the 2nd film is rather moot point.

It said they're larger than some governments, but they're not a world government or anything. They're still under restriction e.g. in what weapons they can use, and they did have to obtain rights to mine unobtainium.
As for extinction, there's no source stating that.

They basically are the pre eminent military power and thus the sole power on Earth at the time of the movie, end of story. And given Jake's statement if taken to heart then Humans are indeed all but extinct by the 2nd film.
