Just discovered a new pet peeve:

When people fawn over you like you're a piece of glass. UGH. Drove me crazy yesterday when I had an IV in. It was hurting because of the iron in it, and they were like poking at it and moving it up and down and they were like "does that hurt? does the feel better?" and I was like "No, I'm fine, really" and they just kept messing with me and asked how I was feeling every 5 seconds. I mean, I guess they were trying to be nice, but I was really just trying to sleep.

I hate it when you boss or colleague wants you to work at the weekend or in the evening when the work is not urgent and could easily be done on the following work day. This usually occurs when workaholics impose their hobby (i.e working) on other people's free time in the mistaken belief that it impresses others. When in fact all they are really doing is sharing their misery with others.

Luckily this has not occured recently.

When my rave glove lights run out of batteries, then I have to wait for the new order to be delivered

When I'm at my trade school and I'm working on our hot rod, I'm all focused and into it, and suddenly we have to clean up for lunch break

I know the feeling. Last year, my dear husband was in two different hospitals for severe pancreatitis. He was stuck soooo many times because they couldn't find a vein and they would do that a lot. What's worse is when they would come in in the middle of the night to stick him and check his vitals. It would keep us both awake. If you are in the hospital, forget about sleeping. They won't let you.

I have also had the same problem when I have had my blood drawn. They couldn't find a vein and it hurt a lot.

I typed this rant up in the middle of english class.

Okay the reality of antismoking people is this. They do it to feel good about themselves. We have come to a point in time where everyone knows the dangers of smoking. No one thinks that smoking makes you cool anymore. We’ve driven that point in over and over again. It is a well known fact that many people go to Starbucks. This may not seem relevant now, but please bare with me. People have started to insult smokers, mock them, or generally be mean to them. The difference between the smokers and the people insulting them is this: one is being insulted for doing something no exactly healthy. As I said earlier, many people enjoy drinking Starbucks coffee, but you don’t see people making fun of other people for buying a rather expensive cup of coffee. It is understandable to politely ask someone to put out their cigarette if the circumstances are right. IE: When sitting in a small confined space, not on the side of the street as you pass them by.

a big pet peeve

that we all can't just move into a big house in the middle of a field in like iowa or something, and just grow our own food, play our own music, solar power our own energy, make own clothes... etc..... then we'd be a big happy family
