I bet most of us will run scared with the sight of the Thanator or the idea of having to fight a banshee.

I would.

In fact, I was the kind of "victim of the unfair system" boy who just sat down on a corner and looked everything like "I hope everyone died today". Recurrent depression, they said.

Yeah, times were hard by then.

Since December I decided to stop that and put all that **** in a hidden place. I didn't want to know anything about the "old Zenit". Old Zenit was bitter, lonely, sad and confused. And after Avatar, after being taught that life is a constant rite of passage, where your strength is always on trial; I made my decision.

I burnt my old life and decided to build a new one. From the inside. From scratch.

And this time I was careful to strengthen myself. To be able to get over every single thing that could be an obstacle. To not break down because of stupid, little details.

I am strengthening myself, so I can become as fearless as Jake.

And face reality with courage enough to change it.

Well good luck , i'd like to know what kind of things you'll do strenghten yourself, maybe you could give me some advice about that . And let me say, for me too ... after Avatar, im a new Petrucho, i've done things that i know i would never done before watching it ... i like that of becoming fearless, that's great, so good luck hope we both have good results after some time

It's as simple as keep standing when your instinct tells you to run away, and kill the laziness to face the everyday problems.

At least that's what I do.

Jake is a role model to me, because of his strength, and courage to fight for what was right and what and whom he loved... I thought at moments in the movie on my first Avatar experience, "what would I do if I were him?" and after scenes like when Hometree fell and Neytiri screaming at me to never come back, and that I'm not one of the People, I'd just sit down and cry and think its over... but he perservered and now he's in a better place, a place I only dream of being, with People I only dream of being with, with a lifemate I only dream of being with. I'm glad to see someone change for the better because of Avatar... you and I are both, and I'm sure we're not the only ones.

That's a good idea. I'm finding myself starting to change in these little ways too.
