That "beautiful last page" is worth the price of the book. THAT's the poster I want!! Definite must buy. Like Stanley and others hadn't already gotten me thoroughly sold.
As for the ayskxawng. Eywa knows and forgives. Remember that when you experience the deeper current of understanding that comes from truly embracing this story, you are lucky. *We* are lucky. When people crack jokes about 10 foot tall smurfs, sometimes they're being stupid to be funny to get attention. But sometimes they see something that moves them in a way that they are not comfortable moving. Some people just can't deal with a sense of wonder. And sometimes people are left feeling stupid because they can't understand the story. People don't like feeling stupid, so they compensate. Agreed, there is a fundamental "jerk" quality that comes out of the woodwork when some folks see Avatar. But these are the people to feel sorry for.
Don't run from them. Don't hide. These people are all through our lives every day. We can't get away from them. Tolerate them, and know that there will always be another special chance to
see Avatar again.
This is not easy. But it is a small challenge for a warrior.
