I agree, the first point would discourage me too. All of those people listed are really unattractive to me (not just musical differences).

From the film though, at the Tree of Souls, I think Neytiri has a better voice though (assuming that is Ninat next to her), it's really beautiful

It wasn't really meant to be a direct comparision. They were just examples of equivalents toshow that Ninat is probably a celebrity since she is the best singer, especially as singing is so important to Na'vi culture.

Well, we are running under the assumption that she's up there because she's the best singer. However, from a hierarchical standpoint, that's probably not true.

Based on what little I know about the Na'vi, I'd think that Ninat is not held in any higher esteem than anyone else. Everyone seems to be treated in the same respect(with the exception of Tsahik and Olo'eyktan)

Ah, but this has nothing to do with hierarchy. If she is the best singer, she is probably very well know. But that does not mean she is the most important. Just like celebrities today in fact.

Assuming that blurry shot is indeed Ninat, i'd say she was actually quite beautiful in my eyes. I don't know if i'm the only one seeing that though. (probably...)
