Walk with me - ty Autumnshire <3

Autumnshire had a great idea to take a few pictures of her surroundings during a nice country walk she had a few days ago. She inspired me to do the same! I took the following with my iphone during one of my evening jogs with my Sheppard mix Bernie.

This picture is taken about a block from my house where the neighborhood ends and the city made bike path starts. I start my runs here and am able to cover about a mile before turning around and finishing up another mile before returning home.


About a quarter mile down the path I came across a split in the creek that runs alongside.


Here is another shot near the one above that overlooks the countryside and foothills (which are not visible due to haze )


A little ways down the path from the pictures above I noticed something I hadn't expected! A turtle had made its way out of the creek and onto the dry land for a sun bath. He tucked his arms and head in before I could get a decent shot lol...


Here is a shot about a Quarter mile down from the creek split. You can see I am getting closer to some new developments on the left... These are track homes... The kind of homes that are large and built RIGHT next to each other. These homes have very small yards and are similiar to those built in bigger cities.


In the background here you can see where I came from.. The trees past this meadow are from my neighborhood which was built about 20 years ago.


And here is where I normally turn around. I'd rather not run through these neighborhoods being that they are not as nice as the country. You can see how ugly and close together these homes are . Also there are hardly ANY trees...


I thought Autumnshire sharing her 'backyard' was very cool. I hope that others of you will share some of the beauty near you! Take us for a walk/jog!
