Default How I remember my area

Just before they paved it and built nothing yet, just roads and streets; and a golf club. I miss now that place. I used to to play with ants there.

Love it, thank you. Love the art.
It's a shame when things get changed and 'developed'. I'm glad you have good memories, and that you will always keep them.

Really wondeful style Zenit. I like it a lot.

I too have seen the destruction of some of the most beautiful places imaginable first hand. Sometimes the memories can be a little too painful.

I can identify with your sadness sometimes. I lived in my area for more than 15 years, and I get nostalgic thinking about the lush verdant that used to exist here during my childhood. Now the urban sprawl reached my neighborhood. Two lane roads became 8 lane roads. Lamp posts and power lines and shopping centers are everywhere. "City Parks," these pseudo, artificial preserves of nature have cropped up to replace the old forests. And more neighborhoods and apartment complexes are being built nearby almost every year.
