It is actually pretty terrifying even just using gravity. Back in the late 80's I did a few runs on a road only going about 45 and it seemed like a lot faster. These guys with engines are plain crazy. Some more info of the guy in the photo is here Powered Streetluge
He got that thing going over 100. Another guy using a Harley engine got to 145. ![]() They have a T Shirt! Can you say truth in advertising. ![]() Speed is all what you used to. I routinely go 90 (145 kph) on my dirt bike. I've been up to about 110 (170kph) on dirt bikes faster than the one I own. Nothing like going down a dirt trail next to the freeway and be passing the cars. The weird thing is that it feels safer than going 110 on a street bike. Last edited by txen; 05-25-2010 at 07:35 AM.
