First thought arriving my mind after the movie
"What the...?!" Second thought "Epically true" Dr Jekyll and Mr Jackass; destruction and protection. Tyler loves his Zen table, Tyler wants to protect people, Tyler does not want any trouble. Tyler creates a fight club, Tyler recruits his own men, Tyler blows ten different buildings related to credit, banks and money. A contrast between the restrained wish of what we want to become and the fury of the unstoppable will. Showing the can of sardines in which we live, in which we move, in which we work. Outside just ads showing things we must buy or become to reach self-realization. Some sardines laugh having more space in their cans and more things to decorate it. Ah, human race; you'll never cease to impress me. You are not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your ****ing khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world. Pain makes you stronger. Through strength, fear disappears. And without fear, you are free. You won't like to be free, because it'll hurt. Hence why most of people content with their can of sardines full of IKEA furniture. EDIT - My inner Tyler Durden speaks: "Yeah man, keep being online here. This is your only window to escape from this because you are not living in real world. You are living on a sh*t world. A sh*t world you fear to change. A sh*t world you just write about. Yeah, keep typing, keep doing your philosophy books, keep living in your six square meters cubicle with your bed and your books. You know what you've got. What you actually got. And don't tell me you're alright with that 'cause you are not. You've been given the message. Decide what will you do from it. Most probably, you'll trash it. And you'll look at me saying "I'm too young" or "I can't do it" with big weeping eyes, and then you'll add "Perhaps later". Always later. Always the same excuses. I don't know if I should feel disappointed or bad about you. You sick me." A dictation of the rebel, destructive part of my mind. I swear I just was transcribing every single word that came to my mind. I should stop staring at the screen, anyway. Good night.
