I like predicting human behavior, like, ever try and guess something someone is about to do and just say to yourself "I knew he'd do that.".

Also I like spotting hidden intentions and feelings in people.

Observing human behavior can be fun. I'm a history scholar also so it is enjoyable to read about what people did in the past and how it relates to the present and the future. However, in spite of the fact that it can be demonstrated that humans exhibit such and such behaviors based on what group they are in or belief system, etc humans still maintain uniqueness. It might not look that way all the time. There is a certain amount of "herd" mentality in many of our behaviors. There is also some that is based in some part on instinct but much of it is learned. I think that environmental, social, economic, religious factors play a large role in how we perceive the world and our actions toward it.

Ah yes, it's pleasing to examine the logic of people like Neville Chamberlain in world war 2 and how it contradicts that of Winston Churchill's.
