Gonna have to disagree with that. It wasn't "just another modern war movie", it was practically a documentary with no plot at all. I didn't care about any of the characters, and there's no ending. You could sit down and watch the Military Channel, and that would actually count the same as watching "The Hurt Locker".

As for the downloads... I've been all over with pirated download websites and look all across the forums, and most everyone I see that downloaded "Avatar" before it came out said something around the lines of, "This is GREAT!! Thank you SO MUCH! But still, I'm gonna buy the Blu-Ray when it hits the stores, 'cause it was too good to just be watched in this quality."

I'm serious, that's pretty much what I kept reading over and over. It was amazing!

Maybe you are right, I don't know. As I wrote I saw only part of it but my feelings was similar to watching war movies. But it's not important anymore because I hate this RIAA like behaviour and even for this I don't want to see it again. Don't take me wrong, when I like some movie I buy it legally.
...I will abstain from commenting the situation when I am not sure about the quality of the movie...
