I just got injured on my knee because of a bad fall from a not-too-high-but-still-high wall; nothing serious, but they said it could have been worse.
Anyway I just started running without any kind of reason, jumping over two to five stairs at a time while going up, or a whole little staircase while going down; and passing over little fences. I've got a motto "No matter what you do; what's important is where you put your weigh on" My knee feels bad, but I think it's worth it. I never thought on parkour seriously, though; but after doing some of these improvised exercises I feel it could be the beginning of something great. What do you think?
