Default Neytiri Costume Art!!!

Hi guys ^^

I'm used to the cosplay/costuming sub-section over in the AF forums, so my apologies if this has a better category to fit into. I just wanted to share the progress on my Neytiri cosplay here as well and also some of the CG artworks I'm working on for it

First off, as a sort of "fanart", here's a CG I did of my costume:

My regular costume pictures can be found at my Cosplay.com gallery, but here's some of the photos for a general gist:

It's still lacking a few items to make it a bit more accurate. There's a convention coming up in August and I hope to finish up all the missing accessories, and have Neytiri's father's bow instead of the one she's using here.

I also wouldn't mind doing the "Love Making" outfit lol, the one she wore that was a deep fuschia after Jake's ceremony with the Omaticaya.

Very nice
You really did the markings well

I like the idea of a cosplay/costuming subforum actually, will discuss adding it , since I've done a Na'vi costume before (link in sig) and I know other people plan to at some point.
Edit: Done, moved your thread there

That's really awesome work!

I'm going to start work on some Na'vi jewelery soon, for both possible future cosplays and for general everyday wearing.

Hey! What did you use for the body suit? That's been my biggest drawback was trying to figure out what to use.

Aww that sucks. At least they got some good use anyway.

What did you make the jewelery out of?

The jewellery was made out of a few things, a mix of wooden, glass and plastic beads. The wrist bracelet is all glass with copper wire, but it didn't hold shape and turned into bangles instead of keeping form around my arm T_T. The other jewellery for the upper arm were made with stretchy cord and were plastic. The long strings for the belt were made with a rock type bead. Yeah it sucks some of them broke, but I'm not too surprised considering they went through a lot!

@ Human No More, I know what you mean about photos T_T! Avatar is a popular one!

I have finished one more CG too ^^ below:
