Yeah, she isn't mentioned or seen in the film much, but from the scenes that she's in, she looks rather cute in some of the scenes! Not as beautiful as neytiri obviously, but you really have to admit she looks stunning!

example :
Come on, she looks so cute in that pic

I have to agree, Mo'at is really beautiful - as all Na'vi women I have ever seen

But yeah... what a dragon lady

I wouldn't go so far as to say she was stunning...
What I like about her is the immense power if her voice. It is incredible the way she captures the room (or tree, as the case may be)

I think she is immensely beautiful

The Na'vi people express beauty in a way we humans do not..

I really like CCH Pounder as an actress. I think she does good work. I first saw her work in a late 80's film Bagdad Cafe ( also released as Out of Rosenheim ). It's kind of a cult film today. It was very obscure when first released in 1987.

I do have to take you to task on this one. We all know that there are no Na'vi. I know that you and I would like there to be, but that doesn't change things. They are art produced by people. Think of it as an idealized from of beauty envisioned by humans.

I am not really thinking about who the Na'vi are, but rather about what they represent.

Also, there is more to "beauty" than just the visual aspect

Well...

What is your definition of "classic"? And would you call Neytiri beautiful in a "classic" way?

Mo'at is surprisingly beautiful, especially considering her age
It's different to Neytiri's though, she's just attractive in a different way, if that make sense. Not something I'm very good at explaining.

Couldn't have said it better, but in my head she's nothing next to Neytiri. I don't have Mo'at posters in my room

I think part of the beauty of Moat is her powerful grace and commanding presence. I can't remember the last time I saw a character with such a powerful entrance. When she is first coming down the steps at the tree she demands obediance with her voice as well as her body. Watch her legs, she steps with the purposeful power, confidence and grace of a panther. You know immediately that she is someone to be respected. I also love the pattern of her spots on her face. They are very balanced and in a wonderfully complex pattern. Her face is very exotic, even for a Na'vi
I also love the way they changed her demeanor at the fall of Hometree. She looks confused, incredibly hurt - almost defeated. Then she rallies for her people leading them to the Tree of Souls.
I really love the arc of her character in the movie and I hope she is in the next one.

I would love to see the motion capture of her first scene coming down the tree spiral.
