I personally wouldn't hate him for doing anything to his own film. It's his world, after all. Besides, I already think he's pretty crazy politically and environmentally.
![]() But seriously, he's the writer/creator of Avatar. No matter what he does with the story, he isn't bound to his fans. He already pissed a whole load of people off with the first film; vice versa with us. If he was bound by the audience's opinion, there wouldn't be nearly as many haters of Avatar today. He risked much to make this film and present it to us with the message he wanted to convey, so how on earth could he care less about a couple of us fans "hating" him for something he does in the second film? It's like the writers of the PotC trilogy. People bash them altogether about the second and third films (mostly the third), but they forget it was also those same writers who brought them the first movie, and their decision with the sequels should be respected since it's their creation in the first place. Cameron works with his own ideas, in his own way. I don't care what he does in the sequels because it's his creation, not ours. Last edited by Woodsprite; 06-17-2010 at 11:57 PM. |
