I do sort of hide my Avatar obsession in RL, but it's because I can't deal with the added pressure, not right now, at least. And I do believe there are others that feel the same as we do, but everyone has their own reasons for acting like the rest of the herd. It is kind of sad what ideas society forces on us. "If you're different, keep silent or else everyone you know will avoid you."
