Maybe unorginall fan art is better than no art. I have absolutely no art skills and I really like all fan art, I think there have to be incredible amount of effort putted in, even if it is "unoriginal". And besides that, I rely more on my feelings when I build up my opinion on art items, so i don't try to find if it is some original idea.
I'm talking about the people who have amazing skills and choose to do a photomanip or something instead. XD
