An easy one this time
![]() Dative -ri, -ėri The Topical case can be used to set a noun (an object/person) as a topic of the sentence, as in "this is what the sentence is about". It can be translated into "the", or more officially "as for the", "regarding", etc. More officially? This case can be very easily translated into "the". I think this is the best way to learn it. Example: Tuteri sėltsana lu Tute-ri sėltsan-a lu "person"-Topic "nice"-Attribute "to.be" "The person that is nice" (Attributive will be explained in further lessons) As for the "as for" example, constructing a sentence with that is a bit tricky. But we can try to make a simple one with words we already know. Ayelturi oe ngaru si irayo Ay-eltu-ri oe nga-ru si irayo Plural-"brain"-Topic "me" "you"-Dative "do" "thank" "As for the brains, I thank you" Remember the Dative case? We do thank, and "you" is the one that the thank is for. Back to the topic though... This is pretty much it... New words: eltu - brain si - to do (verb) siltsan - nice Quick-link To Lesson 12- http://www.tree-of-souls.com/navi_la...over_near.html
