Default Avatar six hours long??

A little something I found on this article.*

http://screencrave.com/2010-07-09/sam-worthington-on-clash-of-the-titans-2-avatar-re-release/

It's just Sam talking about his projects, but what really got my attention was this:

Quote:
“I wish we added eight hours. I think the first cut I saw was about six hours long… There’s a couple of extra hunting scenes. There’s a much-speculated and blogged sex scene everyone keeps f–king harping on about. To be honest, I think everyone’s going to be disappointed that’s it’s not blue porn… But there’s a lot of other character parts. Giovanni [Ribisi] stuff and Stephen Lang stuff. So it’s up to Jim. I know Jim would only release it if it enhanced the story by putting it back in.”
Whoa :O Six hours?? I don't know about you but I'd sure as he'll would like to watch all of that footage. Thoughts?

All we need to do is sneak into the studio and steal the film reel. Who's with me.

O__O

Dayum, six hours. That would be awesome!

*I'm in for stealing the film reel!*

I totally pulled a Mission Impossible earlier. My kitten was sleeping on my mom's bed and she wakes up very easily, and I was super sneaky and quiet and managed to get in and out in less than 15 seconds.

Six hours is a bit much, four hours would be good. Remember he said the 'first cut' he saw. First drafts of anything has a lot of extra stuff that has to be cut out to make the story flow. But I've said before that it felt like there was a lot missing on this film. Like I saw the abridged version.
And we're only getting an extra 8 minutes! I DO hope with the next dvd version that he includes a good portion of the stuff he left out. And I hope that it's not just on the blu ray version!

Yeah, I've read it

Six hours... DO WANT. I could watch that three times in a day, and would be four if I didn't need to stop to eat etc
