To me he was sort of... one of those bad guys you like, like Captain Hook or... well no, everytime I watch Avatar I'm still rooting for Jake and Neytiri, but the idea of his character is likeable. The way the character plays out in the context of the film is tailored for you to not ultimately root for him.
Since he was to die I'm SO glad Cameron made it hard for him to. He was just too tough a character, and him dying the way he did was just so satisfying, and so perfectly timed. ![]() But I'm really going off-topic as it is, anyway.
