Money is a physical representation of work done. It allows people who do not want to wast their time acquiring basic necessities to do what they wish, and still be able to survive. Then those that do produce necessities, can use the same system to acquire things that they want, but do not have the time to create themselves.
Most professions in the world would not exist without it. Everybody would be a hunter gatherer, or farmer. Boring world. I don't want to live there. And as to truth, who's to say your the one who see's the truth? In my eyes, I'm right.

God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy **** we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off." - Tyler Durden Last edited by Tsyal Makto; 07-19-2010 at 02:55 AM. |

If you take as the reference for truth every single individual's thoughts, there is none. If you take as a reference reality, there might be one we all agree on.
