Wow, that's really cool! I want to find out more about how this guy lives. Seems very sensible, not to mention mobile. That must be exciting.

That's awesome. I want to live small and off the grid like that one day, but my personal preference would be one of these. A fantastic way to live, either way.

There is a fella not far from me that has something similar to this, he used to live in a tent but he finally built him a little house all himself with a small wood stove. Going to get pics sometime if I remember.

Wow, this really IS inspiring. Thanks for the post!

I would really love to live like this myself one day. I have always maintained that you don't really need a huge house to just live, and that is exactly what this guy is doing. Just imagine if everyone lived like this...

Likewise, but I'd probably try and get a house instead.

I was looking at the website for these houses. The biggest floor plan is 840 square feet. That's totally big enough for me!

This is really cool and also funny. Basically the guy is living in a trailer home. The idea is not at all new of course, people have lived in mobile homes for centuries, starting with the travelling people from the Sinto and Roma, circus folks and so on. In Germany there are people living in refurbished trucks or construction trailers (though it is a bit tough for them to find a place to legally park them). Whats new is to make it look like a real house out of wood. Thats really nice. I guess however he cant work from that place with all the tools and eqipment you need for that, so he has to have a larger office somewhere.

I think I could do fine living in a small house, but I'd need a big space outdoors that I can be in and maybe also some place to do some crafts without getting wet or freeze.

Oh and I can imagine if there are more than 2 people visiting, it will be really tight

On a similar note: World's Greenest Homes: Tiny Apartment Transforms - 24 Rooms : Video : Planet Green (it is not really "green" except is uses a little less heat and power for lights, but it is a similar concept - living in a small space)

I'm not actually claustrophobic as such, but I agree with Aihwa.
