Hehe, the F-22... Now that's a nice plane
From what I've heard, it's insanely hard to actually be able to fly one though in terms of requirements (or any military aircraft for that matter)

I've always had an interest in flying, but if I ever wanted to make it into a career (I don't) then I would become a commercial pilot... sure, the aircraft are nowhere near as cool as fighters (although that said, a lot of military flying is things like C-130s anyway), but it's also better paid, much safer, and easier to get into

Hmm, I agree... It's kind of weird to think of people I like risking their lives, for no real reason...

I've never been really sure about military types... I know a few who are interested in that kind of thing (not IRL ) and they're people I consider good friends, but I don't get the whole thing... It seems that not everyone really got the message in Avatar about militaries... I do wish there was no need for them in the world

When I was a kid I myself considered joining the air force or being some kind of military pilot...

...'cause those were the first careers of the original American astronauts, and that was what I really wanted to be.

I still think it would be wonderful to learn how to fly.

Sadly I will probably need to sell my to have enough money for my diving certification. I have I YZ 426cc years 2002

I know it's a bit ugly, the guy on sell it to me cut the front and the back (don't know why) but I will change all the plastic kit soon

Yes you are absolutely correct. The F-22, now that would take a long time for me to get qualification to fly hahaha! Hell even fighters would be an extremely hard thing to do. Not only do you have to get accepted into flight school, you then need to pass certain areas without being kicked out and stay high enough in the ranks to be able to get the aircraft of your choosing. Very very few actually get what they want. The comment is also really true with the C-130's being that a lot of the piloting now a days is done with a lot of cargo jets and UAV's.

Ive looked into it soooooo much its crazy haha. Talked to a lot of different guys I know that are currently flying and oddly enough while some may think AF would be the best because they have more jets. They actually have a smaller % of fighters because they also fly lots of cargo. Marines is actually probably one of the best ways to give yourself a fighting chance at all. They give you written contract to go to flight school after passing basic and then you have to fight your way to the top and hope they have enough jet openings.

As for commercial, thats what I would do after. The drawback with commercial is that its expensive and takes lots of hours to get that license. So a lot of guys (especially the older guys) flew cargo in the military for years to get that training and hours done. My grandfather flew in the military and then commercial and he absolutely loved it.

Ill stop now because I just realized how insanely long this post is

I thought about the air force, but I decided to stick with the Nightstalkers. I didnt feel like playing it safe 30,000 feet in the air.

YZ 426cc, that's nice . Mine is WR250R (engine 250cc). It is very low weight (I think the least weight from current 250 4-stroke eng. Yamaha enduro line), so it's easy to manipulate in any terrain . I have this bike since last year. My driving license is limited, so I can't have stronger engine. I will extend it in october I hope.
