BTW, A picture from Human No More's visit to the Tree of Souls in London made it onto the front page of google news for a few days. I dont have the link anymore to the original story though.
I missed that!

Was it this one?
CultureLab: 'Tree of Souls' found growing in central London

Even got a few haters in the comments there, one of the reasons I was happy to be interviewed was due to my respect for New Scientist and I thought more people would be accepting and understanding

his alien visitation will seed more trees - real, Earthly ones - if humans can manage to commune with the Tree of Souls. Although crash barriers were preventing anyone from trying to plug an interactive ponytail into its glowing tendrils when I visited on Saturday evening, pilgrims with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth devices were told that they could link to a local website hosted within the trunk. All who did so would have a tree planted in their name, thanks to Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, which is selling the Avatar DVD, and The Woodland Trust, a British tree-promoting organisation.

That is so cool. But so useless. But the coolness over-rides it.
