Default Bioshock vs. Bioshock 2

I only have enough money for one of them so which one do you think is better?

Having never played Bioshock 2 but going along the reasoning that it will be better because it is a sequel with better technology etc, I would buy it.
Bioshock was amazing though...

BioShock 2 isn't nearly as graphically stunning as I was expecting. Minor graphical update to BioShock. Not a bad game, but I was just expecting more in the graphics department.

Oddly, BS2 is a prequel to BS. So story-wise buy BS2.

I thought Bioshock 2 looks almost exactly like Bioshock. It's not a bad thing just suprising, considering how good the first one looked I thought the second one would look incredible. As for the game I just started playing it so I can't say yet, but its cool so far. I would buy the first one since it's probably cheap now, beat it, then buy the second and it might be cheap by then also.

Bioshock has the original magic and wonder.
I was tempted to get the next one but without Andrew Ryan, Fontaine and Steinman, is it really worth it?
I don't think so.
Nothing can top the first one

I just finished Bioshock 2 the other day. I thought it was pretty good, although I still don't fully understand the whole story. I've played the first game before but only halfway through. The graphics are slightly improved but what kept me interested was the game play. Pretty intense at certain points.

Although one thing I hated with a passion was the hacking function. 9/10 times I couldn't get the needle to hit the mark. I prefer the water/plumbing thing from the first game.

The story is very interesting, you should replay it.

But sadly the the life time of the game is short, about only 5 hour of game.

But I prefer this hacking system, it's more fast then the water plumbing.

It's a very good game, I am impatient to see the movie, if they made it and to play the third one.

BS 2 surpasses the first game even though the first one was amazing. Buy both!
