Snuffleupagus... sounds more like a vegetable than a drug.

But seriously, 1 Liter of sedative? I believe that somethingpam is a generic for novocaine. A freakin liter of novocaine. Jake must be one tough hombre.

(That's a beautiful picture for your avatar.)
I have watched the movie with subtitles several times and would have to go get the actual word they use. I don't think it's like novocaine, that's a local anesthetic. It could be something that is specific for the Na'vi to knock them down.
Will have to go look up things like 'elephant darts' and see what drug they use to take down elephants and large animals.
Also...
Snuffleupagus was a large hairy elephant type character on Sesame Street. I won't go into details because it's not really necessary. Leave it to say I have kids that watched Sesame Street. A lot.

Does anyone know how much overall bonus footage there will be on the special edition? Hopefully lots more than the 8 mins in the re-release.
Duuuude, road trip.

I thought they said 1000 mg (1g)
Still a lot, but a lot less... Na'vi would be difficult to drug though just with their size even before you take any resistance into account.

^That's pretty much what I thought, too. Doesn't he say "A thousand milligrams of sedative!" ? Or... is it "sedatives"? Wasn't ever quite sure.

There's a new trailer up on www.AvatarMovie.com. If you play close attention, you'll notice a scene we haven't seen in any of the other trailers....

Here's a picture (SPOILER):

It really looks like they're just staring at a screencap or something.

It'll probably look better when it plays out in the movie.

Oh wth... sure It's fun with more footage... but I'm getting kinda sick with all these new trailers!
There are 3 of them, and each showing different footage than the others. And it hasn't even gone a month!

Why couldn't they have just made one big +1min trailer with it all?

They're probably parked on a mountain lower than some of the others, and looking up after getting out of the samson.
