Where is it in san diego, ca ?!?!
AND I STILL CAN'T FIND ANY LISTING FOR MY AREA IN SAN DIEGO!!!! WTF IS GOING ON HERE!!!!
Sweden gets it, Ireland is getting and and what... San Diego, home of ComiCon international where it was first sneaked isn't getting it???!!!! This is LUDICROUS!!!! WE have five IMAX theaters in the San Diego area and three of those are 3D!!!! I discovered that some theaters aren't even showing Friday on their listing so I can only surmise that maybe they are witholding the information until the day of so they aren't sold out before it even gets to the theater and they are booking all the screens to it. (Not likely) But this really isn't fair to those of us who need to schedule with other people for a group screening. I'm going to have to break down and actually CALL the theaters in the area physically and ask. I don't want to make a trip to the theater only to be turned away, 'Sorry it's not playing in San Diego.' I think they would have a riot on their hands.

Patience. There's still four more days until the re-release. I checked around your area and there is a theater that has Avatar : Special Edition listed for August 26th, but it's 119 miles away: ArcLight Hollywood, W Sunset Blvd. at Vine, Hollywood, CA 90028

I saw that... it's a three hour drive...my car won't make it that far and I have at least four other people that want to go as well. I don't think they would be willing to drive that far either.
THIS is a real reason to be depressed if I can't see it in the theaters!
