honestly a movie that was released 10 years ago that 90% of people have seen, won't come anywhere close to 3 billion...end of discussion.

I think the main reason 3D isn't as highly regarded in recent months is that fact that almost every big film has come out in "3D". Whether it be good or bad, the cheapening effect is not how the 3D is used, but how much it's been used lately.
