Adpositions, as the name suggests, describes where the object is.
Well it's not only that... The list of words is long. I'll just try to write some examples here. Please use this site for the words: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Na'vi/Adpositions (remember about the lenition column!) How to use this? Let's pick an adposition: uo - behind. Let's use a pronoun here (a person): nga - you. We can insert adpositions in two ways: As a separate word We put the adposition before the noun (object) we want it to describe. uo nga Behind you In this insertion method we need to look for information whether this adposition sets off lenition. In this case it doesn't (you can find that information in that big wikibooks table, link above). uo -[can be + with other adpositions]nga As a suffix We can also put the adposition behind a noun, and treat it as a suffix. This is a better method for now, since we don't need to look out for lenition here. ngauo Behind you New words: ...a lot... Pick those which you think will be useful. Like 5 or so...
