'I see you' Filler

This is a filler between the ending 'I see you' scene and 'Tsu'tey's death'.
IL=Iknimaya Girl (She has no real name, so I call her IL)

---Neytiri saves Jake after killing Quarich---
"And I see you" Neytiri said to Jake as she cradled his fragile human body in her long arms. She felt the warmth of his hand pressed against her cheek as tears ran down her face and dripped onto Jake's lifeless legs. The moment lasted all but 5 minutes before IL(Ikran Lady) came running from the distant tree line in search of Jake and Neytiri.

IL ran through the tree line and froze seeing Jake's lifeless blue body laying in the grass completely alone. Her eyes ached with agony seeing the great Toruk Makto dead in the grass, she dropped to her knees and held Toruk Makto's hand while crying in high pitched tones. The loud cry interrupted Jake and Neytiri in the pod where they were enjoying each others company. Neytiri's ears jolted up in the direction of the sound and she leaned Jake against the pod wall to look out the window. To her surprise it was IL crying next to Jake's avatar, she let out a short call to grab her attention. IL turned to see Neytiri peering through the shattered glass looking back at her. IL bounced up and ran toward the window where Neytiri was located.

Jake was sitting against the wall of the pod pulling the Exopack straps over his head and giving them a firm tug. IL looked through the window at Jake and Neytiri sitting next to the link chamber quietly discussing the aftermath of the final battle. IL looked at Jake then to Neytiri, and back to Jake and said "Who is this skyperson? Why did you not kill him?". Any remnants of a smile on Jake's face were quickly dissolved as he realized what she said. Neytiri quickly spoke up and said "No, IL. This is Toruk Makto, Jake Sully. The dreamwalker." IL stared at Jake for a few moments until finally seeing the resemblance between Jake and his Avatar. Jake loudly spoke in Na'vi "Oel ngati kameie , ma tsmuke." Any doubt IL had, faded away and she smiled as she hopped over the metal frame and approached Jake Sully. Jake smiled and made a welcoming gesture as she came closer, she leaned in and paused for a moment before speaking "Tsu'tey is badly wounded and wants to speak to you."

Jake's smile faded as the information sunk deep into his brain. He shuddered before saying "Go, go tend to him, I shall be along soon. What direction is he?" IL pointed in the direction in which she came from and turned toward the open window. IL leaped through the metal frame and ran back through the tree line to help Tsu'tey once more. Jake extended his arms in a gesture of help. Neytiri remained crouched with a confused look on her face. Jake wiggled his arms and said "Help me up!"

Neytiri smiled and reached under his arms and picked up Jake like a baby. Jake was slowly lifted off the ground with his legs being drug underneath him, Neytiri held Jake up at eye level and laughed "You look like a baby!" Jake squirmed and trying to get Neytiri to stop laughing, he flailed around and said "Set me on the chamber." He pointed at the link chamber and gave Neytiri a serious look.

Neytiri quit laughing and did as he wished, she set Jake on the far edge of the link chamber, Jake scooted himself closer to the control panel to reset the link chamber. Jake pushed a few buttons and entered the necessary information needed to link with his avatar. Neytiri watched diligently as his fingers danced across the panel working their magic. Neytiri looked at Jake several times while he pounded on the panel, she expected Jake to tell her how it worked but Jake didn't know how it worked.

Jake finished preparing the link chamber and pulled his limp legs onto the padded base of the inner link chamber, he turned and looked at Neytiri and said "Go wait by my avatar, I'll see you soon." Neytiri nodded and jumped through the window frame, she walked over to the hollow body of Toruk Makto and waited for Jake to enter his avatar.

The various electronic components hummed as Jake laid down pulling the neural net over his chest and yanked the chamber lid down, sealing him inside. Jake waited in the chamber, clearing his mind and taking slow deep breaths. His mind slowly slipped away into the superluminal connection between the chamber and Jake's avatar.

Everything appeared blurry as Jake slowly came to in his avatar with Neytiri peering over him, waiting for a response. The image of Neytiri became clear as the seconds passed, Jake took a breath and sat up. Neytiri stepped to the side and smiled at Jake and said "Oel ngati kameie, Toruk Makto." Jake looked at her at and said with a crooked smile on his face "Hey." Jake jumped up and wiped the tiny bits of dirt and grime off his abs and checked his body for damage. Happily, Jake grins at Neytiri and says "Looks like everything is where it should be." Neytiri chuckled as a few select thoughts ran through her head. "Right! Lets go find Tsu'tey." Neytiri nodded as Jake waved her forward and began walking in the direction pointed out by IL.

Apart from 3 little things.
1. Can you use a link chamber with an exopack?
2. Superluminal comm is for immediate interstellar communication, not high data short range.
And 3. IL seems really out of place. I laughed every time i read it.

Criticisms aside, great explination.

To be honest, I only had one opportunity to see the Special Edition once, so I may have messed up a few details.

1. It's my best guess as to how he returned to his avatar so quickly
2. Also my best guess for communication between an avatar and a driver
3. I think that was her with tsu'tey when he died.
