Interesting but far to faint for the human eye. Virtually negligible emissions of light in comparison to the Na'vi.

I'm an aura believer... but visible light? Not so much.
I don't remember how aura's were discovered but I do believe that we produce energy. How can we not? There's a lot out there that we have yet to fully understand so don't discount something just because it's in a 'controlled environment'. If it wasn't in a scientific situation then we would never find out anything.

That is really cool though. I wonder if people with really high metabolisms emit more light than people with really low? I wonder if it would be possible some time in the future to concentrate this light into say, certain points on the body. Like spots or something

It's interesting, although if you really think about it, not so unexpected - a lot of reactions produce light of some level.
