Mmm... Well as possible as it is for Grace to still be technically "alive" and able to talk to people, I don't think she'll do it through her avatar. Because, there's only so much time before a body dies from lack of nutrition, muscular atrophy, etc. The avatar can only stay alive for so long after disuse, because I imagine the body is only capable of performing involuntary actions like breathing, digestion, heartbeat, etc. And who knows how long the time gap will be between Avatar 1 and 2.

So, yes; Grace will probably make a comeback, but not in her avatar. Her avatar would most-likely be dead by then.
