Agreed... While it is always important to remember history to avoid repeating those mistakes, there is a fine line between a discussion and attempts at justification. I still think that some people don't truly understand the scale of what happened... certainly, when I was Advent's age, I didn't either, and I thought it was, if not a good thing, then impressive. I genuinely didn't know how wrong I would later realise I was.
A thread like this serves no real purpose.
