Emotion,
Is a mixed beast.

Once it comforts you,
Cradles you in it's warmth,
Then without warning,
It turns.

It thrashes.
It claws.
It tears.
Seeking vengeance...

Until only fine shreds remain.

It can be done,
The beast can be vanquished.
But requires copious amounts,
Of love and tenderness.

Emotion,

Vicious and unremorseful.
Then without warning,

It helps to pour things onto paper so to speak, it actually helps you release bad feelings and make you feel good again.

Thank you very much and I agree whole-heartedly. Some of the best work has been created when the creator has hit rock bottom or is at the very top of the world. It leads to a much truer experience for the reader and indeed the writer when it is composed while in such extreme mindsets.

Also, like you said, it is a great release for pent-up issues. Immediately after writing this, I began to feel better. As if a great weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
