Spoiled child? Now that's something.

Interesting to see how she spoke and acted towards Jake.

I don't see why it's a 'problem' - she resents humans because of Sylwanin
She only didn't kill Jake because of the atokirina after all.

gee, and here I thought there was discussion about my topic.... thanks for stepping in.
Problem child should be in quotes.
This is an example of a scene that was cut out and the action that was left in didn't have any basis or background.
On first viewing it looked to me like she was being asked to do something that is beneath her. She feels Jake is a 'baby' and that's not her job to take care of someone who doesn't know what they're doing.
Any other 'on topic' comments?

I didn't get the impression that she was spoiled in that scene. I just thought she was mad at being made to deal with the wayward skyperson who she sees as "stupid" and "ignorant like a child!" I thought she saw herself as unlucky.

If she really was spoiled, I think it would have showed when she first starts to train Jake. But whatever she felt, she did as she was asked to do and Jake would later become a full member of the Na'vi because of her.

I don't think she was necessarily spoiled - You have to realize, she's technically still a teenager. Hell, I've done that kind of thing before, and I'm not a problem child... I have a great relationship with my parents.

If she was indeed spoiled, I don't think she would be nearly as resourceful or as skilled as a hunter or rider. Plus, if she was a problem personality, she would have complained more about it, rather than sucking up and doing what she was told

Maybe in the eyes of her tribe she was, all she really did though was stray away from the preset marriages the tribe issued.

Maybe. Or maybe she just didn't want to deal with him.

I think it was a quick way to get a laugh out of the audience. Nothing more.

I think sometimes, people tend to overanalyse things.
