A romantic's letter home.
Quite comforted,
By an underlying beauty, An unheirring mysticism That lay dormant, yet providing, For uncounted millenia... Not so insane, To thrive on such traits, Such gifts, Accepting what was offered, Giving what was needed... As much a part of, A great sphere, A great spirit, A colossus of energy As it was of us. And though... Once besotted were we With the Skies, the Seas, the stars... The fauna, the flora, The Art of nature... We; Sectioned them. Rationalised them. Conqured them. And in this quest, For 'knowledge' evermore... We lost them. And with them, We lost ourselves.

*sigh* So true ma tsmukan. Every word speaks immense truth. A home I've never known, and probably will never know, in this life at least.
