No it has this wood box that goes over it. You carry it all together in one piece. It's old but will be working long after I'm dead. It's built really well. My mom loved it. She was really big on making costumes and clothes with it. It would make me and her very happy to have you use it for that!

The fabric is going to be thick and there's no getting around that. I'm making a lion suit.

Do they make special Teflon coated needles or something to ease working with thicker fabrics? If not, someone quickly get the patent on that and give me 10%. Aww hell, I'll take 5%.

You could try a little Teflon spray?

I dunno, I'm just thinking out loud here.
