My Project: Living Among Horses

Hello everyone

I would like to present to you all my project to live among horses.

I'll admit, I'm a bit of a horse fan or lover of animals in general and I see a lot of characteristics of the Na'vi in animals here on Earth, especially also in horses. To express that, or rather, let horses express that themselves and enable people to 'See' that, I have developed this idea for a facility where people can live among horses for a while, much like Jake Sully lived among the Na'vi. It would be financially self-sustaining, but requires substantial starting capital.

Well, it's a somewhat complex concept, so I decided to make a webpage about it. Besides, I need about $5 million to realize it and crowd funding will not work on something like this, so I also need to look for supporters and possible investors.

Anyway, the webpage is called "Living Among Horses" and it's online since yesterday! :-)

About copyrighted material: I do use copyrighted images and film stills of AVATAR on my webpage, but nothing that hasn't been published already. So I hope that's ok. This isn't a commercial webpage after all but just a little private homepage.

I do hope you all enjoy it, even if I realize that not everyone is into horses like I am.

$5 million? Damn, I've seen some crazy posts on TOS but this (IMO) takes the cake and actualy deserves some form of an award.

I also want to point out the phrase you used; 'possible investors', what do you mean investment? I'd like to kindly ask you to google the definition of investment because this is a prime example of what its *not* - heck using my money to light a nice snug bonfire would be a better *investment* then this.

Maybe this is actually just a god tier ****post, but the website looks too legit after all.
Then again, all of this is wayyy too specific for a scam, the target audience for a project like has to be basically nonexistent.
If he is a scammer he would be better off selling "healing crystals" to his local yoga group.

Why Avatar though, like, no other fandom than Avatar has ever been able to attract such a wide variety of wierdos. That's somehow impressive and a bit frightening at the same time.

Anyway, this may sound a bit morbid to some degree, but posts like these are what keeps the forum alive in the meantime. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Okay, I don't mean to micro-post but seriously, I NEEDED to post this (cause I think I just contracted appendicitis from laughing too hard)

Even though all of that seems serious (we know more where we're going to unlike the Join the Na'vi project) and realistic, 5 million dollars seems a lot, although you're keeping horses and not running a fast food restaurant so I can't comment much. I wish you the best of luck. Unfortunately, I don't know any active member who is an investor.

One negative side of your presentation is that it's a tad misandric, not because of the fact that you're hiring only men, but because you're showing them as people who are only driven by testosterone and women.

Ok bronies sure are wierd, but they are their own kind of "special". To me, most of the bronies seem to be self aware how wierd their obsession with cartoon ponies is. That mindset helps to maintain a certain degree of self irony within that community.

Horse Jake however is another story.
