Default Post from MOMS Ball Avatar - Cosplay Additions

Kaltxì ma frapo,

Just posting this on behalf of MOMS Ball Avatar:

"These are contacts called sclera contacts. They cover your entire eye so that everyone will know that you are one of the people. There's a video on YouTube showing how to put them. It's not easy. Mine were $300 because they are prescription. Non-prescription are $80. Either way it takes a month to get them because they are hand painted"

"Ears that sense your emotions:

My ears are from Necomimi. They are about $80. I cut the harness so it looked more like where Na'vi ears are, and then made a small center piece for the middle and reattached the wires. It takes three AAA batteries. There are two sensors. One goes to your forehead and the other clips to your ear.

The lady that paints me for the last five years is the beautiful and talented Melisa. She owns this high end salon in New Orleans. It can not be overstated that you need help with this costume. She is VERY good. The best I've seen.

You turn them on with a button. I of course hide it all in my wig. They will do a reset every time you turn them on. Then they are set. They move independently too! They basically change with your emotions. Left, right, tilt forward or back, rotate toward your focus, stand up when you are aroused or excited, or move down when you are relaxed.

I used the ears and the eyes at MOMS Halloween ball and Mardi Gras Ball. People freaked out and loved it!! But this year I'm getting dressed to go see "Toruk the First Flight, put on by Cirque du Soleil in Lafayette, Louisiana. On the floor, 5th row back. See you there..."

Very awesome. But those contacts looks like they would hurt. They look too hard.

I got a reply from MOMS. Hesaid the contacts don't hurt at all. He also said the guy who makes the faces masks for him sent him this link regarding the Cirque du Soleil show: Vinyard's seen 30 minutes of the new AVATAR-centric Cirque du Soleil production, TORUK!

I remember hearing that too. How profound and eloquently stated!

You must have an an excellent memory and/or a Trekkie-fan and/or a philosophical life and/or write for Wikipedia.☺
