Sorry, Tree of Souls.
I believe it is in my best interest to post this apology. As of late my word choice has been poor, maybe even offensive. Despite my grievances with the user: PunkMaister, I believe this apology should also be directed at him in some capacity. In part due to my recent comment regarding his views on socialism. I am also sorry for the threat, although humorous, damage was still possible. Understand I did not say anything out of anger, it was merely a poor choice of words that came across in a poor way. This is also partly directed at ZenitYerkes, who has taken offence to my word choice in the past. I meant no personal harm.
I will extend this to the administrative staff as well, you will see a more logical Spock from now on. From this point onwards I will endevour to nip my use of ad hominem in the bud. It is not warrented, especially in this community. For this, I am trully sorry. Sincerely, Spock

Logic is sound, i'm sure the community will not hesitate welcoming you back. Especially as through this, you have engaged the issue with a sense of decorum. It's good to have you back, and realising you have maybe done wrong is the first step to acceptance, but to be honest i have had no problems with you at all

I just viewed the socialist thread..I admit it was too late and I pick up that some of the posts may be edited or deleted.
I think you're brave for apologizing but on the other hand I don't think you should apologize for putting your views out there..that's what freedom of speech is supposed to be for. I think many people are touchy about particular subjects..

Hmmm such is the will of the masses.
Not to be cynical but I think that people only need to change their views or apologize if they attack or degrade others. Simply stating your views on an ideaology should never condemn you..

Everyone makes mistakes or does things they are not proud of doing. I think what is important is the next step people take after realizing they made a mistake or did something they wish they hadn't done. Apologizing is a good next step to take in my opinion.

....Am I the only one here who doesn't think this thread even necessary? I honestly didn't see anything remotely close to deserving an all-out apology thread. So... I dunno if this offends you or not, Spock, but I don't think you did anything wrong, and I think some of the censorship that's been pulled was absolutely unnecessary. Am I the only one here who thinks this?

This thread has all reason to stay. We can't delete threads simply because some users deem them unnecessary
