For sure, I'd love to hear all of you, who can, do this... even if it's as close as your backyard. If you live in the city, take a few minutes out of your weekend to go out and find a secluded place outside the city. I'm going to go out tree shopping this Saturday hopefully, I'll keep you updated and keep us updated!

I wish I could, but there's no place where I can do it: my nearest garden is property of the community and parks are public. I live in a flat, and there's also no way to get out the city by myself, so...

I'd love to, but I can't

I wish I could do it but there is no place around here for me to plant a tree. I live in an apartment complex and they have their own landscaping company so there are trees everywhere but I don't think they would allow someone to buy a tree and plant it. However, I would like to eventually get a small shelf garden, maybe plant herbs, etc but I don't have time . Its a good idea though.

Don't let that stop you ma tsmukan! Maybe you could sponsor a program that plants trees?

I can dedicate trees for people that can't do it.....My wife & I have a 8 acre ranch outside of Eagle Point, Oregon. 3 acres down to a small creek & 5 acres up the other side....We keep the 5 acres un-improved & have a nice stand of Oak & Pine trees on it.

I'm open to thoughts from the people.....I can say a small ceremony in Na'vi for a special tree or?????

I'm going to put up a couple of photos on Deviatart in my gallery

That's a great idea! I'd do the same, except I don't have a place to plant a tree...

I will watch it grow and I will be proud of it, and hopefully in years to come I'll come back to my Hometree and see it in a big spectacular state, something to be proud of and show off to my lifemate, children, and maybe even my grandchildren. It will be a reminder of the life changing milestone event in my life. It will be my retreat when I need time to myself to go sit by my tree and think.

Who else would join me by planting their own Hometree in their area? I would love to see others join me in this I will post pictures when I do do it
A goal for this month? With your well defined description, it may as well be your goal for an entire lifetime! Lmao
