It's sad to see people just standing there, but there was not much they could do. According to the video description, the cat would not let anybody come near him:

Even though some people tried to help him, the white cat wouldn't let them come near for two straight hours. Finally a vet arrived and took the injured cat.
Even if they were to help the cat, there was not much they could do until a vet arrived.

I didn't watch it either, I can't take that kind of sadness. I worked in a vet clinic for 4 years when I was very young, I've seen such things and am well aware that animals have emotions. Thinking otherwise is just absurd.

I've seen many videos of animals, specifically cats, portray much emotions that we normally attribute to humans..

And this video, by far, shows the somewhat tragic side, that cats even portray.. While I didn't cry, I did feel that sour tinge occuring..

Very, very sad.

I couldn't bring myself to watch more than 30 seconds of it, it was just so sad. As pathetic as this may sound, the look on that cat's face was one of hopelessness.

Hmm I guess. Still, I know what I do in these situations. I just find it weird someone would video it instead, although I guess they were showing the point of emotions in animals. That's fair enough. I hope it changes some peoples' minds about the intelligence and capability of other species.

Doesn't sound pathetic at all
